A well-respected business are looking to welcome a qualified Accountant with consolidation experience into their finance team for 6 months.
The company will provides you with an exciting role within a high performing team. You will be working with the Gorup accounting team who are responsible for preparing consolidated accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP.
You will focus on helping to prepare the accounts and providing consolidations. There is a need to hit the ground running as an interim resource to complete the accounts preparation as well as audit sign-off within the next 6 months.
As a 6 month contractor you will be on the company payroll and be eligible for their benefits.

Your Role
- Consiolidating accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP
- Statutory Accounting
- Prepare the consolidation in Excel.
- Liaise with local teams and make sure that all of their submissions are complete and on time.
- Calculate acquisition adjustments
- Coordinate with the valuation agencies for acquisition accounting.
- Transfer the consolidation into annual consolidated financial statements
- Manage the audit of the consolidation as well as the published and ensure that they get signed off within agreed deadlines.
Your Skills & Qualifications
- Be a qualified Accountant with a practice background (ACA/ACCA)
- Experience producing statuary accounts.
- Consolidation knowledge
- IFRS and UK GAAP experience (ideally both or at least one)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Great Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced, changing environment
