Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK's leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager to fill an interim position with our client in Folkestone. This role is to provide cover for long-term sickness and requires an immediate start.
**Finance Manager
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the finance department's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance.
- Analyse market trends to find opportunities for expansion or for acquiring other companies.
- Assist management in financial decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of company financials.
- Supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting.
- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
- Manage and lead a small finance team.
**Finance Manager
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar will be considered a plus.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to strategise and improve processes.
