Recruitment Officer for English Teachers (Fully Remote – Flexible Work from Part-Time 3 Days a Week to Full-Time Employment)

Position Title
Recruitment Officer for English Teachers
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
- Create and manage job postings (domestic and international)
- Screen candidates and conduct interviews
- Oversee and optimize the hiring process
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and educational institutions
- Organize and manage recruitment events and information sessions, and participate in external events
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Provide onboarding support and visa application assistance post-hiring
- Deliver pre-departure orientation and training sessions
- Report progress regularly and attend online meetings
- Manage tasks within our visa sponsorship system
- Conduct follow-up meetings with teachers after their arrival in Japan
Requirements
Essential
- At least 1 year of experience in recruitment or HR
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Responsive and prompt work ethic
- Clear and concise communicator
- Proficient in MS Office and Google tools
- Must be a British citizen, permanent resident, a holder of status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or a UK Ancestry visa holder
Preferred
- Experience in recruiting English teachers or in the education sector
- Knowledge or experience with visa applications/support for foreign workers
- Familiarity with recruitment marketing and employer branding
- Experience using data analysis to develop recruitment strategies
- Interest in Japanese language and culture
