Role Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to expand our operations in the Southern UK territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships.

Location: Preferred location between Oxford and Dartford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Customer Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing and potential customers through regular site visits and effective communication.
  • Field Visits: Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training sessions, which may require overnight stays.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and leverage it to support sales initiatives.
  • Exhibitions: Organize and participate in relevant exhibitions and symposiums.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with marketing activities, create training materials, and report on competitor activity and market trends.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with organic, medicinal, scale-up, and process chemistry in pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
  • Sales Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Education: BSc (or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Understanding of process and organic chemistry products.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license required.
