Customer Service Advisor

Leading Provider of Services for Travel Companies, renowned for their commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences to our clients worldwide are growing their Customer Service and After Sales team and they are seeking dedicated Customer Service Specialists who have experience in the Travel Industry and who share their passion for travel and excellence in service. With clients including well-known Tour Operators, you will be dealing with all post-booking queries over the phone & online chat, this role is hybrid (Manchester office) and has great sociable working hours 0900-1730 Mon-Fri, with a rota for 1 in 3 Saturdays. If you work in the Travel Industry with proven administration and customer service skills this could be your next role! Starting salary £23k - £25k pa dependent on experience!

Key Duties:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Resolve issues with bookings, refunds, and travel arrangements with empathy and efficiency.
  • Assist customers in planning and booking travel, including flights, accommodations, and activities.
  • Provide travel advice and recommendations based on customers' preferences and needs.
  • Manage and maintain customer records and transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and suppliers to resolve any service issues.
  • Monitor and report on feedback to improve the company's services and customer satisfaction.

Experience required:

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress well.
  • Proactive and conscientious with an eye for detail
  • The ability to deal with confrontation and expertise in issue resolution.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
