Area Sales Manager
Our client in the Manage Print and Copy Services are seeking a full time Area Sales Manager to join their team based in Swindon. Working remotely, you will have to attend the office 1-2 times monthly and will be focused on field sales.
Offering an impressive salary of £30,000 with an OTE of £60-100,000, a car allowance of £731 per month along with mileage in expenses and a phone allowance of £82 per month. The Area Sales Manager will also receive 7% commission on any new business, quarterly bonuses based on added extras sold and a bonus based on overachieving. 23 days holiday is offered which increases in the length of service.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for generating around 85% new business for themselves, offering some already existing leads. Focusing in the south of the UK (not Wales). As the Area Sales manager you will obtain a full UK driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new customer business and manage current customers - ensuring excellent after care to gain business retention
- Experience in the Copy and Printer market is desirable
- Succeed and exceed and all targets set
- Ensure product knowledge is up to date - including new and upcoming launches
- Use market data statistics to provide frequent assessment of key market areas
- Efficiently process all admin sales tasks - such as sales ordering, forecasting, and sales reporting
- Create strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, especially Marketing and Customer Support
- As the Area Sales manager you will support the Head of Sales and Senior Management team
Requirements:
- A full UK driving license
- Experience and track record of direct sales and knowledge on consultancy style selling
- IT literate - basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Able to travel within the UK
- Capable of working well under pressure and excellent communication skills
