The helpdesk team of this renowned not-for-profit is growing and has an opening for a resolutions-focused Customer Service Advisor who has a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Based near Birmingham City Centre and close to public transport links, the successful candidate will join a company that looks after its people as much as its customers. Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Use your strong communication skills to deliver a first-class customer experience
  • Answer high-volume inbound calls from existing customers and corporate clients
  • Resolve incoming queries to provide a one-call resolution
  • Provide information regarding the company's services
  • Effectively handle complaints, using your exceptional listening and problem-solving skills to resolve complaints
  • Maintain the CRM system by accurately recording calls

Customer Service Advisor Skills and Experience:

  • Possesses previous customer service experience which has ideally been gained in a call centre environment
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and is confident in dealing with complaints
  • Demonstrates good administration skills coupled with good IT skills, capable of using all Microsoft Office package
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate clearly, liaise at all levels, and maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Solutions-focused with strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly
  • Resourceful and motivated, with a can-do attitude
