Early Years and TA Apprenticeship Tutor Gloucester

Morgan Hunt have partnered with a national Grade 2 Ofsted Training Provider who are looking to recruit an Early Years and TA Apprenticeship Tutor in Gloucester. This is a full time permanent role delivering Early Years Apprenticeship from Levels 2-5 and Teaching Assistant role across the Gloucester and Cheltenham areas. The role is home based with learner observations required every 10-12 weeks. The salary for this role is paying between £28,000-£33,600.

The Early Years and TA Apprenticeship Tutor will be responsible for:

  • delivering the Early Years Apprenticeships Standards from Levels 2-5 and Teaching Assistant role
  • embedding Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2
  • managing a caseload of up to 45 learners
  • ensuring learners documentation is compliant and correctly completed to ensure eligibility for funding
  • attending regular meetings with the quality team

The Early Years and TA Apprenticeship Tutor will need to hold:

  • a Level 3-5 (or above) qualification in Early Years
  • an Assessor qualification
  • previous experience delivering Early Years Apprenticeships at Level (or above)
  • occupational competency within an Early Years setting
  • Minimum of grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent)

In return the successful candidate for the Early Years and TA Apprenticeship Tutor will receive:

  • An annual salary between £28,000-£33,600
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working (core hours of work are 10-4)
