Are you a driven sales professional with a knack for development and a passion for the freight forwarding industry? We are seeking a Sales & Development Executive to enhance our dynamic team, leveraging our decades of expertise in multimodal transport solutions.

We are on the lookout for a proactive Sales & Development Executive to join our team, situated in the bustling hub of the shipping industry. With a rich history since 1979, our expertise lies in freight forwarding and logistics, specializing in Far East Ocean imports. As an AEO accredited organization, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer efficient, cost-effective transport solutions worldwide, backed by a dedicated and experienced team.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Source and develop your own business leads, as well as act on those provided by Sales and Operations colleagues.
  • Generate new sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight for both import and export.
  • Work flexibly, managing tasks both in the office and out in the field.
  • Utilize your negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Provide accurate and competitive quotations, ensuring they include the correct clauses.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ideally at least 2 years' experience in selling sea, air, and road freight within a forwarding environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in sales and business development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Global freight industry.
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly personality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • A strong and dynamic team player with excellent English and Maths skills.
  • The ability to bring in own transferable business would be a significant advantage.
