Finished Goods Controller

The Cake Crew are seeking a Finished Goods Controller to join our exiting and expanding team, we need an individual who will be responsible for maintainvisibility, accuracy and control of all finished goods and their movement for both our seasonal and all year round ambient cake products.

Responsibilities;

Maintainvisibility, accuracy and control of all finished goods and its movements to the customer

Tasks;

  • Attentively manage and control all stock and stock control systems internally and externally- the companies ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Nav), 3rd party consolidators, with clear communication lines to the team and wider business.
  • Review production plans and plan adherence- reporting to the wider business actions needed via reports and findings.
  • Download and review customers forecast daily using individual portals- communicating significant different or anomalies to the wider team.
  • Ensure the all seasonal and promotional internal trackers is updated daily- Communicate next steps to the team
  • Managing Best before dates, stock rotation and picks of stock by the 3rd party consolidator, highlight and action next steps
  • Meticulously complete and share key reports and update KPI ‘dashboard' both daily and weekly with the business ensuring information is correct, and reasoning is valid.
  • Review, track and update relevant reports of PODs/ debit notes and
  • Support in the booking of Transport for daily and seasonal goods to and from multiple locations ensuring arrival time are met.
  • Holiday cover when required for other team members
  • Any other task commensurate with the role and as required to support the business function

Key skills and experiences

  • Operational planning/ supply chain experience- with good understanding of demand, capacity planning with experience of working in FMCG manufacturing ideally in food/ bakery environment.
  • Knowledge of the full NPD concept to launch process in line with retailers' codes of practice.
  • Experience working within MSP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and be able to demonstrate experience of this.
  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills.
