Job Opportunity: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bromley, Orpington, and Surrounding Areas
We are currently partnering with SEN schools located in Bromley, Orpington, and the surrounding areas, seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about working with children aged 4 to 16. Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Autism, within the specialist education sector is preferred for this role.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a team to provide children with the appropriate opportunities to achieve outstanding progress in every aspect of their learning and development.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a safe, organized, and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and celebrates pupil's achievements.
- Adhere to all school safeguarding policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of safety and observing good practices in relation to health and safety issues.
- Ensure effective communication with students, staff, and other departments, contributing to efficiency and high standards of care and personal development for students in a learning and residential environment.
- Be aware of and implement student's care plans, assisting them in developing their independence outcomes within their individualized programs.
**Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Experience working with SEN students within a classroom setting.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
