Client Relationship Manager

One of our Financial Services clients has exciting plans for growth following recent career progression within the firm. They now have the opportunity for an additional Client Relationship Manager to join their dynamic team.

Duties Include:

  • Booking meetings for clients, being the main point of contact for any queries on their portfolio
  • Contracts - administration of pensions, ISA's, General Investment Accounts, Bonds, Protection, and any other products recommended by the Financial Planner
  • Preparation - assisting the Financial Planners with pre-meeting/pre-contract preparation including research into clients' existing arrangements and the production of compliant illustrations, supporting documentation and application forms
  • Processing - assisting with both new business application forms, proposals and supporting documentation and activities with existing clients such as fund switches, withdrawals and assignments of policies
  • Recording and updating of relevant client information in the back-office system and completing any actions required following a client review meeting
  • Office systems and administration - providing support with the development and maintenance of the standard operating systems of the firm including general day to day office administration

Project Activities

The firm works on projects throughout the year and the Client Relationship Managers are expected to participate from time to time by assisting the Management Team. This could include proposition development, the development and maintenance of appropriate business processes and other related initiatives.

Required Skills

A Client Relationship Manager should have the following skills and attributes:

  • Exceptional ability to effectively use a variety of software (i.e. MS Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tactful, trustworthy, diplomatic and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Able to undertake some repetitive work, while maintaining an eye for detail and a focus on accuracy
  • Comfortable working on own initiative, setting and managing personal goals, directing workflow and managing deadlines
  • Previous experience of working in a Financial Services environment desirable

Salary - between £29K and £32k + Annual Bonus.
