Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the most prominent and exciting businesses in the Music Industry in their search for an FP&A Manager.
The Business:
The company is associated with some of the world's biggest superstars and frequently featured in Music industry publications. They have interests in both publishing and recorded music and have been building a 'best in class' team since inception. There is a great family feel to the working environment where everyone is deeply passionate about the company and the industry.
The company is extremely well-funded with exciting plans in the future to continue scaling. They are currently on a growth trajectory whereby they will continue to expand, which will mean some great opportunities to progress.
The Role:
Reporting into a talented CFO renowned for their excellent managerial & mentoring skills, the business is looking for a talented commercially minded and hands on fp&a manager who can work closely with the CFO and wider team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health of the business, working with the new in-house finance team and external accountants to ensure all the necessary controls and processes are in place, while also providing in depth analysis and providing value while the company scales.
This is a broad role that will encompass several areas of revenue assurance and data analytics. As this is a dynamic business and this will be a new position, you will be given a certain level of autonomy to mould the position.
Duties:
- Quarterly forecasting and preparing annual budget
- Providing detailed and insightful variance analysis
- Continual process improvement working with internal team and external accountants
- Lead on management reporting to board and investor level
- Supporting the CFO with any ad-hoc tasks.
What we need to see (essential):
- Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Royalties/Data Analytical background (in the Music or TV/Media/Publishing sector)
- Strong interpersonal skills
What we'd like to see (bonus):
- Experience in the music label / publishing space
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus
