Salary: Circa £25,000-30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Import Gateway Coordinator The Role:

We are looking for someone to join our Inbound Gateway team as an Import Gateway Coordinator.

In this varied role you will work with our customers to provide them with import and cross-trade quotations.

The role involves reviewing past quotations and shipments to maximise the opportunity to secure business, following up on quotations to assist in future pricing decisions, liaising with our overseas partners to obtain rates and monitoring the progress of shipments around the world. You will also identify opportunities to consolidate shipments and reconcile overseas partners invoices.

You will build close working relationships with customers, overseas partners as well as internal teams so good communication skills are key in this role. Continuous support and comprehensive training will be provided as we are committed to helping you develop your skills and knowledge to allow you to grow your career with Davies Turner.

Import Gateway Coordinator You:

For this Inbound Gateway opportunity, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in an airfreight environment preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve with an optimistic outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and desire to continually learn and improve
  • Positive and helpful attitude

In addition, you'll also need the right to work in the UK, as we are not able to offer sponsorship for work permits.
