We are looking for an experienced Sociology Tutor dedicated and passionate about supporting young adults with special educational needs. The school, based in the heart of Haringey, caters for young adults from 16 to 19 years old with varied SEND needs, such as Autism, learning difficulties, and Complex Needs.
Your role as a Sociology Tutor will be to support the pupil on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs while at a school, learning facility or remotely if applicable. Experience working with young adults with challenging behaviour is preferred, but not essential. Experience working within a school-based environment is critical, as you are required to have basic knowledge and understanding of supporting children / young adults within an educational setting.

Job Requirements
- Experience supporting young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities.
- Experience of Teaching or Tutoring Sociology to A LEVEL Students
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or willing to apply for a new one.
- Available 2 to 3 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
