Behaviour Improvement Officer

We are seeking a Behaviour Improvement Officer to work within our Isolation Unit, where you will play a key role in supporting and supervising students. This vital role is designed to help students reflect on their behaviour, develop self-discipline, and make positive choices to succeed in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise students within the Isolation Unit, ensuring a calm and structured environment.
- Provide guidance to help students understand the consequences of their actions and encourage positive behaviour change.
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement behaviour management strategies, offering tailored support to individual students as needed.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to personalised behaviour improvement plans.
- Act as a role model, promoting respect, resilience, and responsibility among students.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting or similar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A calm and patient approach to managing challenging behaviours.
- A commitment to helping students succeed, both academically and personally.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies (desirable but not essential).
