The role:
Accounts Assistant required for growing manufacturing company. This role will report into the Commercial Manager and will involve a variety of duties including sales and purchase ledger as well as payroll and general administration tasks.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant

  • Manage telephone calls and e-mails from customers and suppliers.
  • Provide administrative support ensuring files and records are kept up to date.
  • Use Sage accounts to process Sales and Purchase ledger transactions.
  • Process weekly payroll.
  • Produce spread sheets for MD and managers.

The Candidate
The successfully appointed Accounts Assistant will have the following skills and abilities:

  • The ability to process sales and purchase ledger.
  • Working knowledge of SAGE.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Payroll experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
