GI Group are recruiting a counterbalance forklift operator working with a leading client in the food industry to offer an excellent opportunity for warehouse/production experienced individuals. Forklift experience is essential.
The position available is permanent
Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7:30am - 2:45pm
Salary is £24,944 per year
Hourly rate is £12.30 per hour
You must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence, we cannot accept in house licences.
You will need to have recent experience on a forklift, as the warehouse is very narrow aisles. You will also have to complete general warehouse duties, goods in/goods out, loading and unloading duties.
Previous experience of working in food production environment would be an advantage and experience in one or more of the below sections would be preferable but full training will be provided for candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude
You will need to operate a strict Clean As You Go policy and this must be adhered to at all times.
