Legal Cashier
We are recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a company based in Epping within their Legal Accounts Team on a full time, permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:15am-5:15pm. This is a fully office-based role with free parking.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Entering, coding, and preparing invoices onto the accounting software
- Dealing with queries to ensure invoices are processed for payment correctly
- Producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on client ledgers
- Liaising with third parties, including clients, auditors, banking providers, and compliance officers
- Completing bookkeeping duties to ensure no errors are made
- Submitting quarterly and year-end VAT returns
- Processing transactions, including money received and payments out for the business
- Responsible for ensuring compliance is being followed with relevant regulations
- Reconciling accounts for the month end processes
- Supporting with ad-hoc duties for other departments when required
To be successful for this position, you must have previous experience within a similar role. You must have strong knowledge of compliance, SRA Accounts Rules, and understanding of all legal accounts tasks. You must also have excellent technical skills and organisation skills, with high attention to detail and with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
This opportunity will pay you a salary between 35k-39k Per Annum (DOE).
