The school caters for pupils with complex or severe learning needs and all of the pupils have an Education, Health & Care Plan. They offer an exciting and profoundly personalised curriculum.
We are looking for people who can demonstrate they are flexible, positive, calm, patient and empathic and who will easily fit in with our skilled, enthusiastic and hard working staff team.
Key duties:
- Plan and deliver lessons that are suited for student individual needs.
- Deliver with an engaging and patient approach
- Manage behaviours
- Be up to date and aware of safeguarding policies
- Have regular feedback sessions with SLT, to monitor students progress
You will be teaching year 10 and 11 students. All pupils have learning and cognition needs to varying degrees and are working towards their personalised curriculum rather than being assessed against the national curriculum.
This will be a full time position, working Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.
