Salesforce CPQ Admin

Salesforce CPQ Admin required for a 6-month contract, outside IR35, this role is hybrid in Birmingham City Centre but there is flexiblity over how much time will be spent onsite.

You will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations.
  • Lead on Sales Cloud, CPQ and Billing administration/BAU tasks within Salesforce.
  • Follow and define documentation standards, leading knowledge article reviews on CPQ and Billing specifics to ensure quality and appropriate knowledge is accessible to the team.
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce implementations.
  • Manage stakeholders to foster strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Serve as a core SME for all aspects of Salesforce CPQ and Billing, providing comprehensive knowledge and guidance. Provide leadership to the Finance teams on Salesforce best practices, ensuring effective system use.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party consultants for successful project outcomes.
  • Support data governance to maintain a structured and efficient Salesforce environment.
  • Work within the current org as our client transitions to a new org end-state.
  • Configure and manage BAU changes and workload.
  • Assist with Gearset deployments into various Salesforce environments.
  • Work within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.

The skills and experience you'll need:

  • Significant hands-on Salesforce Admin experience with demonstrated experience as a Salesforce CPQ and Billing SME.
  • End-to-end, lead to cash enterprise level experience within Salesforce utilising customised Salesforce Billing and CPQ processes.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications; including CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Admin.
  • Solid experience in environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies. Gearset and BitBucket preferred.
  • Proven experience in complex Salesforce orgs, demonstrating adaptability, a good understanding of Salesforce data structure to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Understanding of multi-cloud Salesforce solutions using the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, AppExchange, and complementary technologies.
  • Knowledge of data integration activities, having worked within M&As is a bonus.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, Kantata and NetSuite).
  • Competence in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) for effective data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Some experience with APEX and ability to read code.
  • Use of Apex Triggers and configuration in the context of sandbox environment refresh and dataloading.
  • Understanding of Service Contracts, Docusign, and Conga.
  • Skilled at creating, designing and implementing advanced Flows within Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies for project management. JIRA.
