Location: Hybrid / Home Based - UK Coverage Based

Role - Estimator - Traffic Management, Barrier & Fencing Solutions:

My client is a leading Highway Solutions contractor specialising in Traffic Management, Barrier & Fencing Services. They are looking for an experienced Estimator to be commercially responsible for projects, from initial enquiry, through to bid and successful awarding of the contract.

The role will entail taking off from drawings and surveys, visiting client site locations (where required), developing and maintaining a client portfolio, and ultimately increasing revenue and profits for the company through successful and accurate tenders. The role will provide Commercial support as directed for the business predominantly estimating and tendering and working closely with quantity surveyors.

The role reports directly into a Senior Estimator and offers genuine future development potential, as the company has a solid history of promoting from within.

Requirements Estimator - Traffic Management, Barrier & Fencing Solutions:

  • You will need a minimum of 3 years' relevant estimating experience from a Highways related industry - VRS/ safety barriers, fencing or Traffic Management solutions.
  • Ideally a HNC or similar in relevant construction-based qualification preferably in Quantity Surveying, commercial or estimating.
  • Evidence of highways background and technical knowledge of VRS / Safety Fencing.
  • Experience in the use of Estimating software packages desirable.
  • Be comfortable with a hybrid role covering the UK.
