Salary: £53,354 - £62,757 per annum

We're looking to recruit a Building Safety Manager to support the delivery of safety and wellbeing of the people who live or work in our Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs).
For this essential role you will oversee a number of HRBs on all aspects of building safety, including, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety (England) Regulations, and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. You will carry out regular site visits and report on issues related to building safety risks, ensuring the delivery of a wholistic and joined up approach to risk management and building safety, oversee contractors and communicate with stakeholders and residents on all building safety issues.
As the eyes and ears of the building, we'll look to you to champion residents' concerns, whilst engaging with stakeholders regarding their role in the safety of our buildings.
You'll already have a good understanding of building safety and the implications of the new legislation and have appropriate qualifications or be willing to study to obtain a Diploma in Building Safety Management or equivalent.
If you have a thorough knowledge of safety legislation, regulation and best practice relating to building safety, and possess the confidence and experience to liaise at the highest level and challenge on building safety related work, then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will also be required to travel across regions to other sites.
