Our client is a well-respected business in the St Ives area and due to consistent growth over recent years they are recruiting for a qualified accountant to join their growing team in a commercially focused role.
The focus will be to look at the financial information that has been produced and delve into the data looking at ways the outcomes can add value to the strategy of the business and future planning and duties will include
- Taking lead on annual budget and forecasting process
- Financial data analysis looking at trends, identifying risks and opportunities for growth
- Monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
- Reviewing systems and processes and recommending areas for development and enhancement
- Overseeing one staff member
- Ad hoc reporting as the role requires
This role will suit someone who loves interrogating data and has advanced Excel skills. Experience of Power BI would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
Whilst being a qualified accountant is preferred, candidates who don't have the qualification but have the right experience in a commercially focused FP&A role will be considered.
