Our railway client has a requirement for agency colleagues to support our station teams at our gated stations, by closing our gates and robustly managing passenger behaviours. Stations have been grouped geographically and we require the agency colleagues to live locally to minimise travel times.
Duties
- Operate Gate lines.
- Ensure every passenger is given first class service, with onward travel information etc.
- Ensure Southeastern Buy before you board Policy is adhered to and that every passenger has the correct ticket for their journey.
- Robustly manage any poor passenger behaviours.
- Report all incidents vis the EIS App.
- Activate BWV Camera for any potential incidents.
We will also require fully trained ad-hoc support for each area to mitigate against sickness, annual leave and any staff turnover.

Uniform Standards
Our Client requires candidates to wear the following
- Black Trousers, Black Boots and White Shirt, we will supply Hi-Vis Jackets, Tabards and Lanyards.
- A further requirement is always for all successful candidates to wear a Body Worn Video Camera.
- Our Client will provide Phones which successful candidates must use to report any incidents via our EIS App and to the British Transport Police.

- One of the following Full UK Passport, Full UK Driving Licence, EU Passport, EU National Identity Card, or Non-EU Passport with a copy of the Immigration Visa.
Travel
Our client will provide a duty purpose only electronic travel ticket for all successful candidates.
