Senior Compliance Manager

Our client is a market leading Technology business who are highly regarded across their sector, empowering them to create cutting-edge technology solutions for UK businesses.

An excellent opportunity has come up to join the firm's successful compliance function as a Senior Compliance Manager, to oversee regulatory and legal compliance globally for the firm. Managing a small team you will lead compliance efforts, ensuring that operations meet all necessary regulations and standards. The role is broad and ideal candidates will have experience across a wide range of areas such as Compliance (Legal & Regulatory), Data Privacy and Information Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the firm's policy framework.
  • Provide compliance advice and support to ensure regulatory and legal adherence.
  • Conduct compliance horizon scanning to prepare for new requirements.
  • Manage regulatory monitoring and assurance, including Total Metering and Billing Systems (TMBS) reporting (TMBS knowledge is desirable but not essential).
  • Lead training and communications to embed compliance across global operations.
  • Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Compliance Principal Risk Categories.
  • Coordinate the drafting of policies, procedures, and guidance for clarity and compliance.
  • Produce regulatory and legal compliance reports for the Risk and Assurance Committee.
  • Oversee the whistleblower facility and support breach investigations and reporting.
  • Manage a team of two Compliance Coordinators.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar compliance role across areas such as Telco / Financial Services / Utilities will be considered.
  • Demonstrable experience with TMBS is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in Compliance (e.g., ICA certificates/diplomas).
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) and Data Protection is also beneficial.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
