Purchase Ledger

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working exclusively with a business in North Bradford who are recruiting a Purchase Ledger to join their team. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth processing of supplier invoices and payments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input purchase invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statement and chase invoices as necessary
  • Draft payment runs for pre-authorisation
  • Export payment runs
  • Pay freelancers
  • Allocate nominal codes and costs to jobs
  • Assist bank reconciliations and daily banking when required
  • Prepare international fund transfers
  • Provide cover for credit control

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Sage experience (desirable)
  • Confident using Excel
  • Ability to work independently
