What's the Role:

  • Reporting to an Operations Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the business unit, with tasks including tendering, compliance, and delivery of secured works plus growth of our Capital Delivery within the Water Industry.
  • Work with the Project, Commercial, Design, Engineering, & Operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Become the established first point of contact for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients' Senior Managers.
  • Deliver a first-class service to clients and implement actions through the team to excel in KPI's, client metrics, and Group objectives.
  • Ensure that we deliver a quality product that meets our clients' expectations.
  • Understand client's businesses and seek opportunities for growth.
  • Promote the company values and behaviours to influence best performance & delivery compliance.
  • Ensure internal governance and processes are followed.
  • Responsible for proactive management of health & safety.
  • Responsible for P&L, forecast, resourcing, KPI reporting and programme management.
  • Collate management reports and lead client framework / contract meetings.

What You'll Need:

  • Previous relevant experience in Borehole Engineering Discipline.
  • Hold appropriate qualifications in Project / Business Management and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, Programme, and NEC Contracts.
  • Strong people management experience.
  • Well organised, with excellent customer skills and IT literate in MS Office packages including MS Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideally, but not mandatory, a technical understanding of the Water Industry.

  • Requires a full driving license, there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required.
