About you:?

You have very strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are a creative thinker, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the desire to share your knowledge and experience to develop your team so that they can rise to your exacting standards.

You will have a strong grasp of PCI in all its forms and will have previously worked as a technical leader in a PCI environment.

You are passionate about technology and its potential to move organizations forward through innovation, while maintaining the security of personal and cardholder data at the highest level.

Day-to-day, you will:?

  • Ensure that PCI compliance is first and foremost in all operational engineering processes.
  • Make sure that PCI mandated tasks are performed at the correct frequency to the required standard and that these tests are recorded correctly.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of servers, virtual machines, and application components, ensuring that any such change is PCI compliant and that the required documentation is updated, and any additional checks or tests are performed.
  • Keep up to date with changes in PCI standards and ensure that our operational processes are updated accordingly.

Your skills and experiences might also include:??

  • Experience: Extensive understanding of the specific issues that face payment processing systems in the payments domain, particularly PCI-DSS, PCI-3DSv2 and PCI-P2PE.
  • Culture: Extensive experience of working in a DevOps culture, embracing automation, promoting collaboration, and ensuring a customer-centric approach.
  • General Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide the team and collaborate with other departments effectively.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help your team diagnose and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive processes and to encourage system documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to enhance overall system support.
  • Project Management and Leadership: Experience in leading technical projects, coordinating team efforts, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous Learning and Industry Awareness: A willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and PCI requirements.
