What we are looking for

We are looking for a dynamic Digital Transformation Manager to join our Customer Experience team. The successful person will share our values, commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities.

About the Digital Transformation Manager role

You will be working in the Corporate Services Directorate, which is a dynamic and transformative environment where change is not just anticipated but embraced. As a digital transformation manager within Corporate Services, you will be at the heart of our mission to embed change to ensure the Councils are fit for purpose.

Dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, we believe that change is a catalyst for growth, and we strive to embed this mindset into our daily operations. This isn't just about change for changes sake, but about creating the conditions for and implementing lasting sustainable change. We ensure that the results of change are transparent, accountable, and efficient.

You will lead our digital transformation agenda, ensuring we are using technology to help create efficient, effective and high quality digital experiences for our residents, whether that's improving their access to finding the right information through our websites, using user centred design to shape our online services, and making the best use of our automation toolsets and our digital platform low code environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our digital transformation journey, helping to make an impact by creating seamless resident experiences.

What we're looking for in our Digital Transformation Manager:

We are looking for an experienced digital transformation manager, with the ability to develop and communicate a clear transformation roadmap and articulate the measurable benefits from digitising services.

In this role, your ability to motivate, lead, and inspire change will be paramount. You'll be at the forefront of our digital projects, actively participating in their delivery. Your hands-on approach and experience in practical application of skills and knowledge will be crucial. This role requires not just overseeing, but also diving deep into the tasks at hand, driving the change needed, and being a part of the solution. Your qualifications and experience in project management will be valuable, but it's your hands-on approach and ability to work as part of a complex project environment that will truly make a difference.

Key to the role is the ability to identify the opportunities to work between different parts of the organisation to review our current services and ensure that we are working collectively to redesign our residents digital experiences and ensuring we are working with our ICT team to help deliver these changes.
