Your New Role
As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing the sales and purchase ledger, credit control, and preparing financial reports. Additionally, you will have management responsibilities, guiding and mentoring junior team members to achieve their full potential.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capability to manage and motivate a team.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
