Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a well recognised retail e-commerce brand who sell a diverse range of products to customers UK wide. We are seeking an E-com Fulfilment Manager to support the business by working in partnership with our onsite 3PL to launch and embed best practises and ways of working through continuous improvement.

This role will be based in the Rugby DC (hybrid), will involve occasional travel to other DC's within the network and a weekly visit to the London office.

The ideal candidate must have previous ecommerce fulfillment experience ideally within a manual operation (D2C) and be comfortable in managing carriers and an onsite 3PL.

The role as E-com Fulfilment Manager:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current distribution centre processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Owning relationships with the 3PL's with a focus on improving performance and overall customer experience
  • Developing initiatives to drive down delivery errors with a strong focus on using data to drive actions
  • Mitigating delivery risks to ensure minimal disruption to service working with the in-house and partner logistics teams
  • Reducing delivery costs, utilising partner, in house and carrier network
  • Using Data to challenge and influence change across the supply chain network
  • Negotiating with the onsite 3PL to drive efficiencies and optimising carrier performance

The ideal E-com Fulfilment Manager will have:

  • Proven experience in an online/ecommerce distribution centre
  • Experience of online fulfilment (D2C)
  • Knowledge of Carrier management - experience with Metapack would be an advantage but not essential
  • Proven experience in cost reduction
  • Working within retail logistics, ideally within a manual operation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Comfortable in travelling to various sites including London

CI Manager package:

  • The salary offered is c. £60k
