Legal Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client, a global law firm, have 2 x vacancies for experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists, partnering with the Practice Areas and Business Professional functions. Due to significant growth period, they require additional support for approximately a one year fixed term contract. You'll work closely with the Partner Recruiting Team and the global HR function, delivering effective recruitment solutions for partner and/or business support hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and Partners throughout the recruitment process, building key relationships.
  • Project Management: Collaborate across teams to deliver projects and enhance processes in line with our global strategy.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, providing innovative solutions to meet strategic goals.
  • Guidance and Support: Coach hiring managers and Partners in candidate attraction, assessment, and management.

Planning & Strategy

Develop expertise within client groups to nurture talent pools and increase internal credibility.

Provide market insights to inform organizational decisions.

Collaborate on future requirements and headcount plans.

Build strategic recruitment strategies and talent pipeline initiatives.

Operational Duties

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring excellent service delivery.

Oversee projects across regions for roles requiring similar skill sets.

Handle recruitment, focusing on direct sourcing.

Define market maps and research targets with the Global Research team.

People Management

Provide guidance to Partners and hiring managers on effective hiring practices.

Engage with candidates and develop niche talent pools.

Promote the Firm's employee value proposition and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Manage 3rd party Recruitment Agency relationships.

Conduct interviews and utilize appropriate assessment tools.

Inclusion & Diversity

Promote inclusive practices throughout the hiring process. Equip hiring managers with data to support decisions aligning with the Inclusion Action Plan.

Act as an ambassador of the Firm's inclusive values.

Skills & Knowledge

If you have gained in depth recruitment experience within inhouse law firm or a partnership environment e.g. accountancy/ management consultancy, we would love to hear from you. Additionally, you may have legal recruitment agency experience.

Duration: Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 35 Hours, Hybrid working 50% home/office
