They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly, non-corporate, family-run team. They are looking for a part time Bookkeeper, with experience of both the Property Industry and using Xero to join the team and manage:
- Rentman (software for Residential Sales, Lettings & Property Management), reconcile to the bank accounts and transfer the income to Xero
- Blocks Online (software for Residential Block Management) - produce annual service charge and ground rent demands, keep records of costs and invoices
- Manage Xero, reconcile to the bank account
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Manage Accounts sales and purchase ledges as well as accounts receivable and payables
- Deal with external Block contractors
- Attend block AGM's
- Maintain Companies House records
- Ensure all Accounts are filed on time
- Arrange relevant Insurances with brokers
- Maintain company utility and services contracts
The ideal candidate will be:
- AAT Qualified
- Knowledge of Xero preferred (minimum 2 years' experience)
- Knowledge of Rentman/Blocks Online software beneficial but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills and telephone manner
- Competence of Excel, Word, and Outlook
