IT Technician - Frome - £26,000
My client is a nationally recognized Entertainment provider looking for the newest member of their every growing and evolving IT team. This market leader services over 500,000 customers per year and their IT team is an integral part of the company, maintaining systems and IT Infrastructure that will allow them to continue providing top tier services to their dedicated consumer base.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, you will be a dedicated member of the support team, dealing with a hybrid of 1st and 2nd line cases in an efficient manner. In this position, you will be dealing with issues with both Software and Hardware.
Key responsibilities include
- Provide technical support for Peer to Peer networks, Internet Connections and internal email systems.
- Execute Hardware repairs as well as system, software and hardware maintenance.
- To ensure internal computers and servers are secure, using IT Security devices.
- Show outstanding communication skills when liaising with other members of the IT team and the business as a whole.
Desired experience
- Full UK Drivers license
- Experience with Office 365, Intune, MS Severs, Active Directory
- Experience providing internal IT Support
- At least 2 years IT experience
- Knowledge of Apple technologies
- Experience repairing and setting up hardware such as Laptops.
- Outstanding communication skills.
