What You'll Do:
- Financial Leadership: You'll lead the financial management of the company, working closely with executive management to develop and implement budget strategies that optimize costs and identify future growth opportunities.
- Project Financial Control: Take charge of complex project finances, ensuring accurate milestone forecasting, monitoring, and timely payments.
- Risk & Compliance: Manage financial risks effectively and ensure the company remains compliant with all regulations, maintaining its financial health and integrity.
What You Bring:
- Expertise: A solid understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is essential, and experience with SAP B1 and Business Intelligence reporting is a plus.
- Industry Insight: Experience in the defence sector or similar industries, with knowledge of UK MOD contracting processes being highly advantageous.
- Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field. A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA) is preferred, and additional qualifications like an MBA or a master's in accounting would set you apart.
- Eligibility: You must have a valid driving licence, passport, and be eligible for Security Clearance from the UK Defence Vetting Agency.
