Sales Manager
Location - Midlands
£45,000-50,000 basic + OTE + car + Pension + Benefits + Health care
The Role: Working for a successful UK based business, selling Solar PV energy products into a range of commercial customers - this will include Manufacturers, multi-site industrial units and individual units.
- Build and promote strong customer relationships through understanding their low carbon requirements
- Assist with technical proposals for projects including energy modelling when required
- Develop credibility and trust with customers thorough industry insight, technical knowledge, robust commercial proposals and responsive and effective communication
- Manage enquiries including progress reports
- Manage pricing and installation costings
- Customer site visits and surveys
- Drive enquiries and new business through trade shows and advertising response
- Installation design
This role will include travel across the UK however your time will be split between home-based work and meeting with clients.
The Person:
You will ideally have sales experience within green energy sector however similar sales experience in sectors such as roofing / construction products will also be considered.
- Proven sales success with excellent negotiation skills
- A passion for customer service

- Personable. able to communicate effectively at a variety of levels and very your style to match situations
- Structured and organised
- Self-motivated
- Highly numerate and literate
- A practical understanding of projects and electrical installation desirable
