Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest. This full-time position is for the entire academic year, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support the social and emotional development of students with SEN.
- Help prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of various SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's educational and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support are advantageous.
