I am recruiting anewly qualified accountant to join a fast-growing modern hostel company. This company is going through a period of rapid expansion both within the UK and internationally, so it is an exciting time to join this company. The client islooking for a newly qualified accountant, looking to make their first move outof practice.
Your new role:
Reporting to theGroup Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for managing 3 management accountants
- Statutory reporting
- Producing UK subsidiary accounts
- Monthly reporting
- Prepare and review balancesheet reconciliations
- Maintain the intercompany matrix
- UK VAT return
- Assisting with process implementation
- Working closely with the Operations and Management teams
What you'll need to succeed:
In order to succeed,you will be an ACA qualified accountant making your first move out of practice. You would have had exposure and an in-depth understanding of IFRS & UK GAAP, have strong attention to detail, and have excellent analytical and reconciliationskills.
