Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £40,000

An exciting position has arisen for a Marketing Specialist to join one of the fastest retail technology service companies in the UK.

As a Marketing specialist you will assist develop, execute and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. Researching the market, analysing trends to help define the companies marketing strategy and provide advice on how to best reach the target market. Assist with the coordination of events such as trade shows or conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing and executing the marketing plan in line with our long-term strategy and growth targets, to increase leads and revenue.
  • Designing attractive and effective multi-channel marketing initiatives, campaigns and promotions, to drive new customer acquisition and retain existing customers.
  • Developing content, communicating to external customers (Zoho CRM/Campaigns) and building constructive relationships with key contacts internally to deploy well-crafted campaigns to our audience.
  • Managing the company's website and social media accounts and ensuring content is accurate and correct.
  • Manage and issue monthly internal newsletter.
  • Measuring and reporting on the success of promotional campaigns.
  • Highly proficient in Email Marketing platforms and Google Analytics to produce marketing analysis and campaign reports.
  • Owning the Portfolio & Campaign strategy from execution through to measurement, best practice content creation and amplification.
  • Implementing company brand, PR and external communications strategy for both existing and prospective customers.
  • Designing and producing effective marketing and sales collateral, to support new business activities.
  • Conducting ROI analysis on all marketing activity and adjusting strategy accordingly.
  • Working collaboratively across the organisation.

  • Experience in customer service - very confident over the phone.
  • Knowledge of all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook for Business and LinkedIn.
  • An eye for design, as you will be responsible for our adverts and marketing materials.
  • Sociable and energetic with an attention to detail.
  • Great IT and communicational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritisation, organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

Essential requirements:

  • An experienced B2B/commercial marketer with a growth mindset and expertise in digital marketing.
  • Strong and creative copywriting skills.
  • A highly constructive and collaborative working style and a team player.
  • Very organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to efficiently manage a demanding schedule and deliver multiple marketing projects to deadline.
  • Experience of the IT sector.
  • A confident communicator who will network and develop strong and productive business relationships with our suppliers, agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in executing integrated promotional and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Experienced in using CRM / email platforms, such as Zoho, Zoho Campaigns and Microsoft D365.
  • Experience of website CMS systems (Word Press/Elementor)
  • Experience in managing multiple social media platforms.
  • Experience of using tools such as Canva to create content.
  • A good understanding and experience in digital media and brand management.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and in producing strategic presentations to senior management.
  • A Marketing/Business degree, qualification or CIM.

Desirable

  • Experience of using website analysis tools, such as Hotjar, SEMrush
  • Experience of using project management tools such as Jira or Monday.com
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience of using website analysis tools, such as Hotjar, SEMrush, Google Analytics
  • HTML coding experience
  • Google Ads experience
