Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and balance sheets.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Provide support during audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Support senior accountants with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
