Accounting Specialist (12 Month FTC)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Monies: Manage all aspects of client monies, including conducting yearly audits.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly VAT reports, submit quarterly VAT returns, and complete various statistical returns.
  • Cashflow and Billing: Complete daily cashflow tasks and maintain the bills list.
  • Budget and Expenses: Assist with the yearly budget, perform expense analysis, and handle partner draw/distribution payments.
  • Invoice Management: Approve expenses and invoices in Chrome River, monitor purchase orders, and process vendor uploads and invoices.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Team Support: Support and assist junior team members.

What They're Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of five years in legal accounts, with a strong understanding of SARs.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Aderant and Chrome River, advanced Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Passion: A drive to excel in a fast-paced environment, coupled with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Leadership: Experience in guiding and mentoring junior staff is a plus.
