Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Assistant for our client a local government organisation in Southampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the end-to-end recruitment process.
This is initially a 3 month contract with the possibility to extend after that date. This role is hybrid working 1 day in the officer per week.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Using in-house e-recruitment system to advertise roles and update candidate details.
- Handling queries from both candidates and managers, providing excellent customer service.
- Supporting hiring managers with recruitment campaigns, shortlisting, interviews, offers etc.
- Supporting candidates and new starters on their recruitment journey.
- Provide guidance on the process and relevant legislation.
- Ensuring all communication and documentation is sent out accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines and SLAs are met.
- Conducting and completing pre-employment checks, issuing contracts of employment, and ensuring employee HR and payroll records are updated.
Personal Requirements:
- Certificate in HR Admin or equivalent work experience (recruitment activity/administration in dealing with customers).
- Experience of delivering an excellent customer service in a high volume environment.
- Experience of using e- Systems and experience of using social media and internet platforms for recruitment or similar activity.
- To have experience of using e-Systems to run basic management reports.
Working Hours: 37hrs / 9:00am - 17:00pm / Monday to Friday
Pay: £16.88 p/h
