Youth Workers

Posted by Hertfordshire County Council.

HCC Services for Young People is the primary provider of youth work, career education information advice guidance and work-related learning in Hertfordshire. Our vision for young people is clear. We want young people to succeed, and by working for us you'll be key to enable this to happen.

We work with the most vulnerable young people to address emerging needs, improve life chances and reduce escalation to more expensive and intensive services. This includes supporting those challenged in education, their community or home life, to ensure a successful transition to adulthood. The young people are typically 11-17 (up to 25 for Care Leavers and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
