Permanent full-time position

This is a new role within our client's engineering team reporting directly into the Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Engineering work organisation
  • Management of engineering systems and reporting
  • Improvement of equipment performance through a targeted and effective maintenance programme
  • Engineering compliance
  • Project management and site improvement activity

The role has scope to make a difference on site and equip the job holder with great experience for developing a career at our client.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance management systems. Experiance with SAP PM (Preventative Maintenance) and SAP MM (Material Master) is ideal, but training will be provided as required.
  • Experience working within a Manufacturing industry.
  • Understanding of maintenance processes and technologies including condition monitoring systems.
  • Mechanical/Electrical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
  • Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Driven to make change and impact.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and turn it into action.
  • Highly professional and organised with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to make sound logical decisions.
  • Resilient and able to cope under pressure to react to frequently changing situations.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • A team player who can also work well on their own.

The successful candidate will be able to show a track record of success within their previous roles.
