Job description:

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensure smooth running of the school premises
  • Carrying out day-to-day DIY/maintenance and minor repairs (i.e., furniture fixtures, wall repairs)
  • To ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly
  • Daily responsible to check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use
  • Checking the premises to guard against vandalism
  • Litter picking and general clearing of external areas

Profile description:

Your new role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fixed term (31/1/25) Caretaker/Janitor to join our Borders Schools account in St Andrews Academy, Barrhead Rd, Paisley PA2 7LG.

This role is onsite based.

Salary is £13.00 per hour.

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Renfrew Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of nine schools.

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

The standard hours of work are 40 hours Per Week (Shift pattern is 08:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday.
