Alexander Daniels is recruiting for a Credit Assistant on behalf of a leading business based in Warwick on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Credit manager, you will be responsible for collecting cash, keeping overdue debt to a minimum and building long lasting relationships with customers.
Your daily duties will include.
- Credit Control.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to enable effective cash collection.
- Reviewing existing customers credit limits.
- Credit checks for new customers.
- Chasing aged debt and overdue balances.
- Issuing customer statements.
- Liaising with the sales / commercial team to discuss commercial risk.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a finance function.
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge of Excel.
The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a finance / office administration environment with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. We are looking for someone who is methodical and has a positive can-do attitude with the ambition to learn and develop their career in finance.
