An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Applications Design Engineer, based in Fareham, Hampshire. This company specialise in designing bespoke touch solutions for customers internationally.
This Electronics Applications Design Engineer vacancy based in Hampshire, can be considered in 3 main parts:
- Developing customer solutions, and integration/validation of the product via the local support organisation whilst developing reference designs, and demonstration platforms for new products. Fundamentally electronics design with some customer involvement.
- Providing support for customers, mainly internally throughout the entire product lifecycle (such as design, tuning, testing, and understanding the complete solution).
- Being a member of the applications/projects team at the product centre here in the UK, supporting project engineering across the product range.
The successful Electronics Applications Design Engineer, will have some of the following skills, experiences, and qualifications:
- A degree in Electronics or Physics, or other relevant discipline
- Hands-on experience of electronic circuit design and debugging (analog/digital)
- Have experience working with electronics products in a technical role (e.G., Electronic design engineer or validation) ideally with some firmware/embedded software and scripting such as Python, MATLAB
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
