About the role...

Our HR Team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join us! Reporting into the Senior HR Advisor, you will support with the delivery of efficient, knowledgeable, and reliable HR services to our Head Office and Food To Go business.

In this role, you will collaborate with our corporate and retail leadership teams from a people perspective, helping the business to create a positive people culture and to make impactful change to benefit our colleagues.

Building and maintaining strong working relationships is essential in this role. You will utilise HR data, reports and evidence to influence decision making and to identify key areas for improvement. You will also provide well-informed and accurate HR advice and guidance with employee relations, HR processes, policies and procedures.

This is a full-time, office-based role at our Waterside Head Office in Blackburn. We are looking to attract an adaptable, resilient, and reliant individual who is passionate about HR & people. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Providing advice and support on employee relation issues including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances to managers of all levels and capabilities.
  • Supporting with the formal nature of all disciplinary matters, ensuring employment law and company policy are followed.
  • Involvement in TUPE / redundancy related matters, providing expert information and guidance to the business and all employees.
  • Utilising HR data to inform decision making.
  • Ensuring compliance with up-to-date employment law.
  • Working diligently to improve the efficiency of the HR function and processes.
  • Updating policies and procedures with the HR Business Partners/ Head of HR.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc HR projects and other duties from time to time.

Candidate Requirements

  • CIPD qualified with ambition to progress.
  • 12 months HR experience.
  • Experience of operating in a fast paced, demanding environment.
  • IT literate - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Employee relations experience and can evidence sound case management.
  • Knowledge of SAP (Success Factors) is desirable.
