Static Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer

Randstad C&P are working with a leading facilities management client who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Static Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team, based on a large commercial site in Irvine. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a leading facilities management company, providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for HVAC systems across multiple sites.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.

  • Competitive salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operate, maintain, and repair AC/HVAC systems within commercial properties.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on AC and HVAC appliances.
  • Perform diagnostic checks, fault finding, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Support the general maintenance team with tasks such as basic plumbing and minor repairs.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning.
  • Proven experience in air conditioning and HVAC maintenance, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in HVAC, refrigeration, or air conditioning (F-Gas certified desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair faults.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
